Support

Attending support groups has been shown to improve care partnering skills and reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. Participants in Gretchen’s groups report benefitting from connecting with others facing similar challenges and learning self-care techniques essential for effective caregiving. Her groups are unique in that they are both supportive and educational.​ Gretchen facilitates 2 support groups that meet at the Veterans Home in Montevideo:

1st & 3rd Tuesdays, 1:30pm - 3:00pm
